OSXFH is a software file that works within Parallels desktop software for mac. Parallels is a hardware virtualization software for Mac computers used to run windows/linux/unix and former MacOSX operating systems. Parallels runs these virtual machines within files called .pvm – (parallels virtual machine).

We supply the custom OSXFH.pvm file which Parallels can open and run.

Within OSXFH.pvm are preinstalled full working versions of:

OSX Snow leopard 10.6.8 and Freehand MX 11.0.2, no passwords, codes or serial numbers needed.

Migration assistant is also available within Snow Leopard server in case you want to migrate other software programs from a computer running snow leopard and rosetta apps, such as: Font managers, design utilities, Photoshop or Illustrator (pre-CC), Fonts, files and other discontinued apps.

The OSXFH download file is large, 4.5 GB – because it contains the fully functional Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.8 and the Freehand software preinstalled.

Please read the install page before installing.

Do not install Parallels till you have downloaded the OSXFH.pvm. Read the install instructions – otherwise Parallels will install windows OS as default.

Live effects
Maximize creative expression with live effects, which apply complex distortions and effects without altering the original object. FreeHand MX includes vector effects (such as bend, sketch, and transform) and raster effects (like bevel, drop shadow, and gradient transparency). The complete control of ordering provided in the Object panel allows you to apply effects in any order, to all or selected attributes of the object.

Live-edit graphic primitives
Quickly and easily reshape rectangles, ellipses, and polygons while maintaining the control and editability of FreeHand MX graphic primitives. Easily round rectangle corners and mix concave or convex, convert ellipses to arcs, or change polygons to stars with editable numbers of points.

Macromedia Flash integration
Increase productivity and streamline development of Macromedia Flash projects. Plan, layout and design entire projects in single document. Now you can even import more complex Macromedia Flash movies (SWFs) into your FreeHand MX document and integrate them into your designs before exporting back out to SWF with improved efficiency. Placed SWFs can be edited using launch and edit in Macromedia Flash functionality. Macromedia Flash can also open and import FreeHand MX files.

Action tool
Drag and drop complex Macromedia Flash actions between objects, symbols, and pages. Assign simple actions like Go To and Play, or Go To and Stop, as well as more complex behaviors such as Get URL or Load External Movie.

Connector lines tool

Fireworks integration on Mac OS X and Windows
Streamline your graphics development workflow with enhanced Fireworks integration. Launch and edit imported bitmap images with a single click in the FreeHand MX Object panel, make your changes in Fireworks, then click back in FreeHand MX— your image is now updated, without losing any effects or transformations applied to the original FreeHand MX image. You can also open or import FreeHand MX files directly in Fireworks, with improved vector and text reliability and editability.

As the Macromedia activation servers have been offline since 2016, you will need to enter this serial number through telephone activation's 'activate over the internet' screen.

Version 11.0.2 was the final release of FreeHand before Macromedia terminated the product. A postmortem on FreeHand MX was written from one of the FreeHand/Fireworks developers at Macromedia's defunct Texas studio, formerly Altsys.
