Plot of the Series:
The series a Japanese sports anime TV series, about figure skating. The story revolves around a figure skater named Yuki KAtsuki, who decides to pause his career after facing a loss and defeat in the Grand Prix Final. He leaves for his hometown, but his passion surely makes his comeback to his place of skating. A series of events follow where he has to make certain emotional decisions.

His role model, another distinguished skater by the name Victor Nikiforov decides to take on the responsibility of teaching him and guiding him through the process of skating. Another child prodigy skater,Yuri Plitsetsky wants him to choreograph a routine for him, who is just 15 years old. Therefore, the story is as grappling as well an emotional, because it weaves sports, humor, passion, dilemmas, all together.
The second season might show us a complicated relationship between Yuri and Victor, but there has been no official news about this yet. We will have to wait and see what the creators, Sayo and Mitsuro have to say about it.
The show is also watched by many real-life professional skaters, as the show took on a storm on the internet.

It was after the much sought after viewership, that they decided to greenlight another season. But we for sure do not know when will it release, because now we have the COVID pandemic raging the world, which has affected all the productions worldwide. It was supposed to come out by the end of 2020, but now it might be pushed to the end of 2021.
The Blu-ray version of the series came out from Funimation previous year January, so we have a piece of good news on that front surely.

The makers are in talks about the second season because they have a lot to provide to us for the next season. There is a lot of buildups they will have to show us because the fans are clearly waiting!
There is no official news about it yet, but we have another surprise surely, That is the “Ice adolescence” feature film, which had its trailer released very recently. It is a cherry on the top of the cake for all the levers of this series. Even this was supposed to release by the end of 2019, but it got postponed.
